Our first "dirty dash" race on a beautiful day! Mud, water, sprinklers, obstacle courses, and laughter made for a good time.
We all had some good falls in the slippery mud, but hot showers awaited us at the end. They were so worth the upgrade from the cold showers. Thanks dad!
After we cleaned up and left for lunch we came back for the little piglet plunge. The boys did the 1 mile race. Tattoos of piglets was the entrance pass.
We found out Miles might be our most competitive child. He took off up the hill and only looked back to make sure he was in the lead. 1500 kids that were accompanied with a parent made it hard to keep track of all of them.
I super LOVE this picture of everyone slipping down the hill! Gavin is on his hind quarters in the middle.
I guess the large amount of kids posed a safety issue so they turned off the water to the slip-n-slide. That was my favorite part when we went through.
Gavin, my safety kid, clean kid didn't know what to think of the whole situation.
Did I mention that we had already cleaned up and I had ZERO intentions of getting back in. I took one for the team. This is where Gavin broke down to tears. Miles loved it, but was too deep for him. Caden was on his own.
