a first ski

Papa Heaps and I took Gavin to Sundance for his first time skiing.
I regretted the first hour. It felt like I did a thousand squats picking him up.

Papa was feeling too sick to be there so I was left alone.

When it seemed hopeless, Gavin said "MOM, I CAN DO THE MONKEY BARS!"

O.K. random boy........

He replied, "MONKEY BARS ARE FREAKING HARD, SO IF I CAN DO THAT I CAN SKI."

Then what do you know, he finally caught on and wanted to go to the top. He went all the way down with out falling. He also realized he can get back up on his own. We enjoyed the rest of the night together.

What a cute boy!!!
