This is how the trip started out the morning we left

Then we arrived at St. George for some swimming at the hotel and shopping

The next day, off to Lake Mead to camp and wake board
Miles always smiling even when he is stuck in a port a crib all day

While my parents, Kyle and Jami slept in Sam cooked us breakfast

Gavin wasn't quite ready to be awake

Carp are the most hideous fish ever. Talk about a nightmare if you fell in

The water was only like
58. Sam wore a full wet suit and I layered two short wet suits that made it mentally warmer. Caden and Jami went on the tube with the promise from my dad that they wouldn't get wet, but the tube took a nose dive in and Caden bawled his eyes out.

the picture of Gavin is adorable. the poor kid just wanted to sleep longer.
It's weird that my family never went boating. I think I can count on both hands how many times I've been:)
I don't remember promising not to get them wet - only that I wouldn't go fast. I did feel pretty bad about that. Hopefully they have short memories.
Even with the cold water temps it looks like you had a blast. I love that Gavin was such a "happy camper". It gets me excited for the boating season.
Looks like you guys had a lot of fun and thank goodness it looks like it was Sunny once you got to Lake Mead!!!
I'm glad to see your pictures posted. It looks like you had a blast. Sorry we missed it...actually under the current circumstances I'm glad but you know what I mean. LOL.
Lake Mead is really much better now that its 100 degrees here! Bring the boat again and this time invite me!!!
