This is the best time of year for Lake Powell in my opinion. Not too hot or crowded, but then again Lake Powell is fun whenever.
This is the annual C shift fire department trip thanks to Chief Lyman and his wonderful toys. After our huge disastrous storm last year we anchored in supper well this time.

Some of you might not know, but this little guy is a product of our last year trip to Powell. So it's only appropriate that he is our first child to ever go to Lake Powell. Shani had to tease us the whole time about it.

The first morning out on the slalom ski Sam felt his back pop and threw it out. The guys had to lift him out of the ski boat and on to the house boat. Sam was in a ton of pain. 
We left him laying there and took off to ski, a few hours later this was his progress. He rolled over. Then with a little help from POP blessing and Matts mansage he was feeling better in time to wake board and tube the next day. Thanks to Ray in this photo for taking care of both of my boys.

Aunt Shani gave Miles a piece of licorice and he loved her for that. First taste of something real.All in all it was another fabulous year!!!

Looks like you had a great time. Who would have known seeing you behind the boat that you just had a baby!! I need you to be my wakeboard teacher :).
You guys looked like you had so much fun. I'm totally jealous of your wakeboarding skills.
Yeah, I am pretty mad that you beat me to the post. I am glad that Miles' first treat ever could be from Aunt Shani. It was a great trip. I am glad that there was some estrogen there to keep me company. You had better come next year, and bring Miles so he can play with his new girlfriend or best buddy in the world(what ever the zygote chooses to be). I LOVE POWELL!
It sounds like you all had alot of fun. Sarah and I are thinking about going next year. We have talked about planning to start trying for another kid at about that time next year. I can't think of a better place to concieve a child, then on top of a boat, on Lake Powell, surrounded by you sleeping friends. :)
I am sooo jealous. Looks like you all had a lot of fun. Glad Sam was able to get out the next day and enjoy the rest of the trip!
